Southeastern Regional Director – Melvinor Kendrick

Congratulations to our Regional Director Melvinor Kendrick and the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce for being recognized as the 2015 Chamber of the Year by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, at the annual conference in Montreal, Canada - August 2015.

Southeastern Region 2nd Vice-Director – LaShanda Dawkins

Hats off to Southeastern Region 2nd Vice-Director and MARTA’s Acting Chief Administrative Officer for completing a year-long leadership class with the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). The program targets up-and-coming transit professionals who work collaboratively for one-year researching key trends in the transportation industry. Dr. Joy Davis – Member, North Dade Broward County Chapter


Accolades are in order for Dr. Joy Davis of the North Dade-Broward County who was recognized at Nova Southeastern University during its Black History Month Celebration. The Opening Reception for African Presence 2016, 13th Annual Art Exhibition was held on Thursday, February 4th and featured executives, faculty members and alumni. The theme ASCENT: Black Women’s Expressions, was composed of works by women of African descent from the local, national and international art scene. The Southeastern Region salutes Dr. Davis and her accomplishments within the educational, art and community arenas.
